A new record was set Wednesday when Chicago had its ninth consecutive day of measurable snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.

Wow, I love Chicago and hate to see it so white!I wonder if the mayor is sticking to his plan to only have the streets plowed during regular business hours. . . .

yeeeuup. I'm not in the city, where it's warmer with the lake but about 70 miles west, where it's open fields and -13 right now (-30 windchill).

Global warming, my ass.

Global warming, my ass.You guys should have AL come and give a speech. All that hot air should raise the temps a few degrees at least . . . .;)

That global warming isn't apparent in STL either. It's cold here, bitter cold, but at least we don't have any snow. It would be even colder then.

I hope the weather guys are right. It might get to 40 on Saturday.

We left Rockford, IL during the deep freeze of the early `80's and will never live there again.

I lived in Mobile for a few years. The winters were fabulous but the summers, well, not so much.
