View Full Version : Cost per job of Obama's job-creation plan

I heard this on the radio this morning. I can't remember the exact figure (I'm bad with numbers), but I think the cost of the plan per job was something like $214k or $241k. That's over $200 thousand dollars per person to get them a job that probably will pay diddly-squat. Why not, as the man on the radio asked, give each person a check for $40k to get them through the year? It would be a lot cheaper.

But then we'd have nothing to prove for it...no new roads, no new schools, no more black people with a job.

I guess we can expect another influx of illegals to snap up those jobs that Americans won't do.

Job creation by the government is a horrible idea. Much of this money will be spent by bureaucrats and wasted. The first 350 billion dollars of the TARP money has been a dismal failure in freeing up money for lending purposes.

They are akin to a virus.
