North Korea's recent annulment of non-nuclear arms, dismissal of South and North's past peace negotiations, and rumors of ballistic missile tests are threatening the Korean peninsula as well as all of Asia.

North Korea claims suspected missile preparations to be satellite tests but the rest of the world is in complete doubt. Even if it is a pure science-based satellite test, it clearly violates United Nation's policy of prohibiting any long-range missile tests. Nations across the world are demanding a seize-fire on North's missile tests.

Does the North realize ignoring the world's opinions and continues on with the missile test will only result in
a world wide sanction and restraint on foreign affairs?

In order to maintain peace all over Asia, cooperation among the US, China, and Japan is even more necessary.

None of this stopped them two years ago when they attempted to fire the Taepo-Dong 2, as well as numerous shorter range missiles.
