Simple Solution for Mexico Border Violence: Send in the Military, Tancredo Says

Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) said the solution to ending the violence along the U.S.-Mexico border would require only one order from the new commander-in-chief, President Barack Obama: send in the troops.

“You can absolutely secure the border with the military,” Tancredo said in a conference call on Thursday with reporters and Roy Beck, president of the immigrant reduction advocacy group, NumbersUSA.

Tancredo said he observed a two-week operation a few years ago along the Canadian border with Idaho where 100 U.S. Marines were stationed along the 100-mile stretch of rugged wilderness, along with the use of three unmanned aerial...

There's actually a simpler solution, but it involves reducing the federal government's power, so that's out.

How about just recalling all the US flags and adding a couple of stars to them. How many states in Mexico? We are flying the Mexican flag every where. Turn about fair play.

I didn't think Feeb was suggesting we nuke Mexico, I thought he was suggesting that the federal government isn't able to deal with the problem, so maybe the states or the people should do so.

Sorry I was being sarcastic, I could be wrong but I think he meant legalizing drugs. Which would open a whole other can of worms.

Drugs and guns. I'd can this E-Verify garbage, remove restrictions on carrying arms, and loosen self defense laws too.
