PORT ST. LUCIE — A 60-year-old woman accused of biting her ex-boyfriend after he started pilfering one of her deviled eggs is facing a battery charge, according to a police report released Monday.
The 66-year-old man told investigators that on Saturday he asked his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa L. Holt, if he could eat a deviled egg that she'd made.
He claimed Holt, of the 2400 block of Southwest Valnera Street, said no because she planned to take them to a party in the afternoon and that "they were arranged on a plate," the report states.
"He said that he told her that he could rearrange the eggs on the plate after eating one," the report states.
Holt bit him on the forearm, according to the report, after he took the plate from the refrigerator and started removing a deviled egg.
