What CNN Didn't Show of Roesgen's Chicago Tea Party Interviews

CNN's coverage of Wednesday's Chicago Tea Party, and in particular, Susan Roesgen's despicable performance, might end up being the lowlight in how the press reported yesterday's historic protests.

Yet, there's much more to this story.

Members of FoundingBloggers.com continued to videotape Roesgen after her much-publicized argument with a Party-goer, and you'll be surprised at what transpired (video embedded below the fold h/t NBer Blazer, vulgarity warning):

I saw this earlier today and was taken back, as I usually am, by the so called journalists that seem to want to inject themselves into the story.

This opinion I have has nothing to do with my political leanings. I'm more concerned that the CNN reporter is unhappy with the tide of the crowd and wants to sway opinion in the direction of her political leaning.

Note to television reporters - You are not the story. The story is the story. Report the news and then shut up.

I believe she wanted to put the people attending the protest in a bad light and when they did not act in the manner she was expecting she decided to try and provoke them. Unfortunately for her she was the one who ended up looking ill mannered and extreme.
