The IAF was due on Monday to begin a comprehensive drill in all its bases throughout the country. Routine IAF Exercise to Take Place This Week
As part of the IDF's annual training plan, the Israel Air Force will hold an exercise between the dates of May 18th-21st, 2009. Regular and reserve forces will participate in this exercise, which will take place throughout IAF bases in Israel. IAF aircraft activity will be noticeable during the course of the exercise, as well as the presence of military vehicles across the country. Additionally, various sirens and explosions will be heard in the vicinity of the IAF bases taking part in the exercise.
