I hope this is good news.... I read earlier that it was a hotly contested election and too close to call.. I'm glad to read that he lost. That little man was a big meanie!

Woah!! We don't know for certain just yet who won. Mousavi has declared that he has won in a landslide, but Iranian state tv and Ahmadinejad's camp is claiming they won. Jut wait...

Mr Mousavi's campaign has skilfully employed the internet and text messaging to circumvent the state-controlled media, but it is almost certainly financed by Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president regarded by many as the embodiment of the corrupt establishment.
