Oh, man, now who's going to give me my check when I win the big sweepstakes?!!

I loved the old Carson show, with Ed and Doc.

The way things were going, he would have had to keep it for himself. I hope he went easily and is at rest.

Most people don't know that Ed McMahon was a Marine who retired from the USMCR at the rank of colonel, then went into the California Army National Guard, where he retired as a brigadier general. From all accounts, he was a superb officer and just an all-around great guy. RIP

He was quite the man. It's a shame his later years were so tough.

RIP, Mr McMahon.

I used to watch him too.
My bedroom was next to the tv when I was a kid. I was supposed to be sleeping but I would give myself away when johnney would crack a joke. If Understood the joke I would start laghing and they would turn the tv down. On more than one occasion I got caught sitting next to the door listening.
