TEHRAN (Reuters) President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused President Barack Obama of behaving like his predecessor on Iran and called on him to apologize for what he called U.S. interference following the Iranian elections.

IMO, .this only proves that the world apology tour makes us look weak, and Ahmadinejad is a certified nutcase.

Don't be surprised if he gets one.

We might want to give him his apology. We don't want to anger them, it's not like Obama would do anything if Iran did nuke a US city or even Israel. Well, he might try to bring Ahmadinejad "to justice" and send the FBI after him.

If Obama had wanted to interfere in Iran's election, he would have sent Jimmy Carter!

That statement is only funny if you remember 1979.

Ahmadinejad wants an apology from Obama? If such a minor criticism can provoke that type of response, I don't know how Obama can possibly think his peace talks will work. There is this fairly new conservative blog I found, I actually find it quite interesting. This issue was one of the posts:

With the way Obama has become Apologist and Chief, Ahmadinejad wins by just demanding an apology whether he gets one or not.

But..but..but Obama's reasoning for not having a backbone or principles and saying what was going on in Iran was wrong was that any such statements would be seen as interference from the West and be an excuse for more antiAmerican and antiopposition action.

I haven't been paying attention that long and I could have told O that the mullahs and Ahmadinejad would use US and western interference as an excuse regardless of our actions and statements. More proof that Obama is either an idiot completely out of touch with reality or an idealist who is completely out of touch with reality.
