Axelrod waffles on Obama no-middle-class-tax-hike vow

The White House seems to be retreating from President Barack Obama’s campaign promise that he would not raise taxes on families making less than $250,000.

Under persistent questioning from ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday, Obama senior adviser David Axelrod declined to restate the vow and left open the possibility that the president might sign health care reform legislation that taxes high-cost, employer-provided insurance plans which some middle-class families currently receive tax free.

“The president had said in the past that he doesn't believe taxing health care benefits at any level is necessarily the best way to go here. He still believes that, but there are a number of formulations and we'll wait and see,” Axelrod said on ABC’s “This Week.” “The important thing at this point is to keep the process moving, to keep people at the table, to the keep the discussions going. We've gotten a long way down the road and we want to finish that journey.”

Of course, anyone with a brain knows that the Obamessiah was going to renig on that promise. ALL democrats renig on that promise. The Dems are too stupid to see the pattern.

Everyone is going to pay for Obama becoming President. Everyone, not just the stupid liberals that foisted him upon us.

Yep, even those below the poverty level will pay additional taxes on cigs, cold drinks, booze, gasoline, electricity, natural gas, heating oil, etc. etc. Everyone will have less change in their pockets so that the government can piss it away. Additionally, we will get rationed health care. Anyone that voted for this Socialist is going to get a healthy dose of ass kicking tax increases.

I don't know, maybe it is just me, but I am drawing some serious parallels between the begining of Battlestar Galactica Season 3 and what must happen to save the country from this administration. Sometimes, a little sedition is just what the doctor ordered.

Anyone that voted for this Socialist IS going to get a healthy dose of reality. In a fairer world, big supporters and facilitators of this administration would read the words of my signature and tremble.

Obama's policy poll numbers are dropping like a rock; however, he still has a majority likeability rating. If the media crucified him like they did Bush, his numbers would be very low. I am hoping that some Democrats in the Senate get relligion and stop this insane spending and social engineering.
