U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Monday lawmakers were "moving closer" to an agreement on healthcare reform but would not predict if a vote was possible before the monthlong August recess. "We're moving closer to a point where we can hold insurance companies accountable," Pelosi told reporters

as is always the case with progressives - they know better than everyone else how things should be done, what choices are the right ones and DAMN IT they are going to make them for you if you don't have the sense to make them for yourself.

So who's going to hold the pols accountable?
Hope the younger folks realize that they, too, will get older. I'd hate to age in a system that preordains you to an earlier than normal (now) exit from life.
Call your representatives and senators and fight this thing.

It ain't working. Congress is floundering around trying to find a villain to help them push healthcare over the top but how can you give the voters something to hate when your own ratings are in the crapper!

Funny how if a couple of republicans support something the dems want it's bipartisan - but it's not bipartisan when dems join republicans in opposing something . . . .
