Anyone remember when Obama told his 'disciples' to "I want you to argue with them and get in their face," (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/09/17/politics/p185733D40.DTL&type=politics), during the campaign?
Well dear friends - it seems Obama and his 'thugocracy' in the White House, along with his lock-step 'citizen minions' don't like it when the same tactics are used back in their faces. See, the August recess has provided a great opportunity for those of us opposed to "Obamacare" (and many other things this administration is doing), to speak directly to our elected officials by way of these "townhall" events held in home districts. And this has been going on quite a bit lately, at these face-to-face meet-and-greets across the country (http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/02/grass-roots-revolt-in-austin-tx-just-say-no-to-obamacare/).
But, the DNC has a problem with this. They weren't ready for their political opposition to get in the face of those responsible for the "stimulus", the "bailouts", "Obamacare", "Cap & tax...uh...Trade", etc etc. They cannot understand how people have become angered by Washington not listening to our nation's citizens. When we say "no", we mean it. When we say "slow down", we mean it. When we say "READ THE DAMN BILL!"...WE....MEAN...IT!!!!

Statement from DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse on the Republican Party and Allied Groups’ Mob Rule: The Republicans and their allied groups – desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill – are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.
This is the personification of desperation. Not only are they demonizing people who are engaging in peaceful protests and civil discourse, they are making attempts to intimidate them, by telling their followers, in true brown-shirt Stasi fashion, to report all questionable activities to the White House (http://www.redstate.com/jeff_emanuel/2009/08/04/call-for-informants-if-you-oppose-obamacare-the-white-house-wants-to-know-about-it/).
They clearly weren't ready for their own tactics to be used against them. And that is to our advantage.
Keep it up! Don't give in! Don't listen to the threats! Don't fall for the intimidation!
GIVE 'EM HELL! If you're fed up with the disregard for accountability and the endless spending (by both left and right)...GIVE 'EM HELL, and don't let them silence you! Never ever think that your voice or your vote do not matter! They've called us "right wing extremists" for a few months now, and, unless things have changed, the DHS is still monitoring those of us who object to such things as 'Obamacare' and illegal immigration. Threats didn't stop our founding fathers from signing their names to the Declaration of Independence, and they shouldn't stop YOU from engaging your elected officials in a meaningful, substantive, peaceful yet firm way. YOU elect them. YOU give them the power they have. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!
