This is an interesting one. In the video for this song, the guitarists had Strats...that's ok when you're lip syncing a video, but you don't get this sound out of a strat...

Billy's most famous guitar is a '59 Les Paul he dubbed "Pearly Gates". He currently uses a Gretsch Billy-Bo Jupiter Thunderbird in their live performances, the Pearly Gates guitar being FAR too valuable to use on a tour.

He recorded their first album with Pearly and uses it still in the studio.

Gibson just released a replica of Pearly Gates, signed by Billy himself, for a hair under $16000.
