That was a little before my time.:p I suspect that those who were of a certain age in 1968 don't remember much of it anyway.

I remember 1968. We got our first color TV that year.

I was 5 years old.

I do remember watching these shows.

I was 12 and remember everything from the MLK and RFK assassinations, the fiasco that was the Democratic convention, and the summer with Nancy Norris:D

I was 6-7 yrs old then. I do remember postage stamps being 8 cents, but not 6. I do not remember gas prices or any of the other things on the list.

I was just telling DS about Land of the Giants the other day. I loved that show! I was watching the reruns in 82 or so. I can't believe he had never seen it. He's older than me.

In 1966 my dad purchased a brand new car. I remember him questioning himself, after him & mom brought the car home, whether $2700 was maybe a little to much to spend on a car.

1968 was a good year. I came home from Vietnam in one piece and received my discharge from the Army. Three months later, I started on my law enforcement career. I bought my first new car, a Plymouth Roadrunner with 426 Hemi in September and met my future wife in December. She still won't say whether it was me or the car that got her interest. The car's long gone and she's still here, so maybe it was me.
