In this Gigapixel photo of downtown Vancouver,
you can zoom into each individual apartment and see
unsuspecting people.

This image is a photomosaic of the famous painting 'Starry Night'. The image is made with over 210.000 tiny photographs and a total size of over 1.500.000.000 points in other words it is a 1.5 Gigapixel Image.

This is a picture FA could appreciate, as it approaches the level of equipment that only he could afford....

My 4x5 monorail will give resolution like that.

Nice pic. You would like the 4x5 . With the movements you can straighten all the lines when you are photographing architecture. Some day I will sit down and scan some of my negs I've done nature photography all over the us. I have a seven thousand dollar Nikon scanner that does a beautiful job with film. I had my own color darkroom until computers started being used.

Wow.. Sounds awesome.. I never gave much thought to a wide-angle lens until I attached one to my 18-55 lens and shot some buildings... Pretty neat:

I tried to upload a 4x5 Image it was 96 megapixels. Photo bucket reduced it from 11048x8784 to 1028x 814. I'll have to find a site that allows you to upload large files!

Wow, that's a huge file! What kind of camera are you using? I'm not familiar.. I'd like to see it online to see what you're talking about.
