Here is video in two parts of a Morgantown, West Virginia Rally yesterday against ObamaCare. The rally featured Right to Life Activist Karen Cross detailing how the Democrats' HR3200 Health Care Bill would expand Abortion if adopted. She also addressed "end of life" concerns in the bill . . . . . (Watch Video)

Why is abortion so important to you?

It's not, per se. It's the contrast with the jammed, screaming-contest town halls that I was noting.

I know. I meant to ask you in a different thread but I'm zoning today. I didn't intend the question to start "Linda bashing". It just seems to be one of those subjects that you always chime in on.

This is a better question if expanded to everybody. We have allowed the left to successfully demonize any opponent of baby slaughter (abortion) to make them unelectable.

We cannot put forth a candidate that is aceptable under 99.9% of the REAL issues to even make it to or out of the primaries if he is **gasp** opposed to "choice". "Choice" being a euphemism for murder.

Instead, we get choices at the national level of Mcpeasement or Oblahblah and generate huge excitement over them as though they were the best TWO people to lead this once great nation. There are better LEADERS at the municiple levels in any state than these two clowns, yet due to the blindness and laziness of voters, coupled with the agendas of a biased media, we get saddled with ineptitude, incompetence, and ideology over common sense candidates.

I think it interests me because it seems to be so insoluble, and because debate never ceases on it. As far as I'm concerned, it's resolved, but people keep arguing about it in our society.

I believe the arguments are more morally based. You cannot reach consensus morally because that is personal and subjective.

For instance, I feel it is murder because I don't allow myself to quibble as to the moment life begins. I feel I will be accountable in an afterlife. That is a quaint, backward, or laughable belief to those on the left and a good bit of the scientific community. I don't care.

Legally it is easy to dismiss because one may point out a certain law, article, chapter or decision. If I am right and there is an afterlife, then it follows that I will be held accountable for my decisions.

The one thing that should not be debatable is my desire to not have my money being used to commit what I feel to be murder here on this life and morally reprehensible in an afterlife.
