Sounds like now is the time to support him with e-mails to Fox:

Attack on Obama riles Beck's advertisers

By DAVID BAUDER, AP Television Writer David Bauder, Ap Television Writer – 2 hrs 10 mins ago
NEW YORK – Glenn Beck returns to Fox News Channel on Monday after a vacation with fewer companies willing to advertise on his show than when he left, part of the fallout from calling President Barack Obama a racist.

A total of 33 Fox advertisers, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc., CVS Caremark, Clorox and Sprint, directed that their commercials not air on Beck's show, according to the companies and ColorofChange.org, a group that promotes political action among blacks and launched a campaign to get advertisers to abandon him. That's more than a dozen more than were identified a week ago.

While it's unclear what effect, if any, this will ultimately have on Fox and Beck, it is already making advertisers skittish about hawking their wares within the most opinionated cable TV shows.

Not to worry! (http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/beck_boycott_fox_backlash/2009/08/23/251369.html) Moonbat plans always backfire!

A left-wing groupís effort to intimidate corporate advertisers on Fox Newsí Glenn Beck show appears to be backfiring as it triggers a wave of support from grass-roots fans rushing to defend the popular TV personality from the attacks.

Even before the liberal boycott of Glenn Beck began this summer, the best-selling author and TV host had became a ratings superstar, with his 5 p.m. cable news program pulling mega prime-time viewership numbers. Beck also had become a lightning rod for liberal groups who didnít like his anti-Obama message and his staggeringly large audience.

But now Beckís fame seems to be growing even more as a spontaneous, nationwide effort has sprung up among fans to defend their hero, including Web sites, Facebook groups, homegrown e-mail blasts, and individual telephone campaigns.

The reaction in support of Beck comes in the wake of the advertiser-boycott campaign launched by Color of Change, an African-American advocacy organization with close ties to the Obama White House.

Although the group garnered some success initially, it appears that it is making claims that donít match reality, with several major companies claiming they never joined any boycott of Beckís show.

Excellent!

We were speculating if all of this was why he went on vacation "suddenly."

Beck is a drama queen - but he's a drama queen with a point - and facts to back up his claims which pissed the left off royally.

Not surprisingly, the group is lying about some of the successes of their boycott:

Again, since I have posted this before (but it is still worth posting) here is some background information on the Glenn Beck boycott

http://newzeal.blogspot.com/2009/04/...ts-former.html

Obamas Czar Anthony (Van) Jones... He is also the co-founder of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Color of Change, and was the author of the 2008 New York Times best-seller, The Green Collar Economy.

COLOR OF CHANGE IS ONE OF THE GROUPS SPEARHEADING THE BOYCOTT OF GLENN BECK

It's the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

I miss the days when I drove a delivery truck and got to listen to Glenn's entire show every morning.

Although, I like the 3-fold larger income I have now, too.

Toss up? ;)

It's funny how it's become black vs. white again. And from what I see it's coming from the left, throwing around the idea that anyone who opposes the left's agenda and BHO is racist. It's sickening.

when we have so many people who willingly dive into that trap - do you blame them?

That's true but every other argument, debate, or headline references racial motivation or an organization like colorofchange.org. I am white and work for a state government in a building where I am a minority. I am not racist, have never been racist and will never be racist but why is it that I feel that if I show opposition to BHO I will be labeled that way, the same way the media and white house has labeled the opposition to anything they propose? You can call it ignorance of the masses or whatever you want but it's nothing but the sickening truth.

Notice the Left doesn't attempt to debate the point. Their true colors always come out. "This person must be silenced!" Why does the left always attempt to silence opposition? Why can't they let facts be the deciding factor? The left call conservatives NAZIS yet Nazis have this one thing in common with our American left; silence disent.

The best thing to do is stick to the issues. The racists are always trying to make it about race - one way or another.

Who said it wasn't a planned vacation. These guys take their vacations in the summer and around holiday season. Besides, this is old news and his ratings have gone up since. So, you can chalk this boycott up to...

Glenn Beck is a nutcase, and belongs in an asylum. I can't believe he even has listeners, especially after his extremely unusual behavior in his infamous "Project 9/12" rant with his fake crying.

Here's the hilarious video:

I like Beck better on TV than the radio, he gets his common sense theme across. The best when he highlighted the waste of my money for a turtle tunnel down here in florida! He set up some turtles and a littlle tunnel on his desk, the turtles peed! :D
But the beauty of the waste of money is that he showed it was just an alligator feeding zone at the end of the tunnel.
Glenn Beck has common sense, you don't.

You are obviously not smart enough to be an attorney, you must watch Law and Order. When you can't win the case, attack the opposition.

It is Obama's agenda to make it a black vs white issue. He wants a revolution in this country so he can declare war on Americans. It may take this action to reclaim our USA.

So the Walmart near you busses in Canadians or people from Guatamala to work for them?

Because our Walmart IS one of our local grocery stores...

including Wal-Mart Stores Inc., CVS Caremark

LOL. I've heard the pro-nationalized-healthcare advertisements from Wal-Mart in my area, and I've laughed every time. Liberals are so, so stupid, it's just funny!

If a national healthcare plan is enacted, and not utterly destroyed by the courts, Wal-Mart need not grant health care insurance to it's employees. With the wake-up-walmart and similar, liberal, campaigns Wal-Mart has been under increasing pressure to offer benefits packages to it's employees. With a "government option" Wal-Mart can direct liberal dissedents to the government when anyone has an issue with the health care status of one of it's employees. It's brilliant!

Of course a retailer like Wal-Mart would endorse government mandated, taxed, and controlled health care. It lets them off the liberal hook for their employees. I'd do the same thing in that position, it's a no-brainer. If the government pays for health care, than Wal-Mart is off the hook, even if said payments come from taxes burdened on employees! It's brilliant!

Stupid liberals and their inability to see over the dashboard. Quite frankly it's hillarious and dissapointing at the same time.
