This was breaking news on a local SD TV station. I'm trying to get the print version.

That's1300 sq. miles that they don't have to worry too much about burning next year.

I was in the SAC area last week. It was hazy and smokey. In fact, it always smelled like the smoldering burn pile in my side yard.

It's been so wet here in IN that two attemps to burn the aforementioned pile have been unsuccessful.

That is terrible though for all the people, bidnesses, and animals affected.

Maybe the Governator can train the Spotted Owls to drop water ballons...:D
