Anyone using this??

I've seen job posting for people who know this and I'd never
heard of it. Looks like it's been around for a while, I'm downloading
a copy to take a look.

I don't get it? Ruby Rock was on The Fifth Element. Or was it Rudy Rhod......:confused:

It's a Web 2.0 development language/tool.

Ruby as a language compiles with a standard Java compiler. Ruby on Rails needs a website to work.

It won't be of interest to you unless you are a web developer.

Personally, I prefer Django (djangoproject.com).... but RoR is the flavor of the month for now..

I've recently become a fan of Silverlight 3.0.
