Ok, I'm involved in a car accident (hypothetically) and the car catches on fire...
My pants catch on fire and my wallet is a fiery mess. I go to the hospital with 3rd degree burns and congress (if the Republicans like Joe Willson get the amendment they want for illegals passed) says that I can't get treatment because I don't have a valid id. That makes a lot of sense.

While it would be easy to say..."Yup.....sucks to be you. You shouldn't have been here illegally!"...It's not like you wont get care. Even with public (socialism) health in place, EMTALA will also be in place. EMTALA mandates if anyone goes to or is taken to an ER for treatment, the ER has to treat them. The part that many Americans are against is giving illegal aliens a public health card so they can just go see any ol' doc they want. Although Obama says giving illegals coverage isn't part of the bill, he hasn't outlined how he will keep them from getting the coverage.
