World Record Trout 48 POUNDS! "Look at the Size Of That Moose !"(Picture)

( New World Record - 48 - pound Rainbow Trout - pulled from Lake Diefenbaker in Canada.)

They are calling this "Trout Week" in North America.

On September 5th - Canadian angler Sean Konrad obliterated the IGFA all-tackle world rainbow record with a 48-pound rainbow out of Saskatchewan's Lake Diefenbaker...

The world record brown trout was also caught that same week - not far from where I fish the Manistee river. I actually will be heading up there on Saturday (but above the dam - so I won't be catching anything quite this size) .

This was not a genetically altered one either - so I put a bit more stock in this one.
