And out of this list, only a few wield actual power: Murtha, Rangel, and Waters...all Democrats. You can make a small case for McConnell but his party is in the minority.

I'm glad my congressman isn't on the list (S. Levin, D, MI). Conservatives don't like the Levin brothers much for their politics, but neither have ever been accused of any kind of corruption.

I wouldn't be sure about that.

Debbie Schlussel writes in her blog that Michigan Democrat Senator Carl Levin took thousands from Abramoff's firm and from his client (http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2006/01/lefty_sen_carl.html), the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

Anyone can donate money to campaigns. The question that Debbie Schlussel can't answer is whether those dollars influenced Carl's vote. There is no evidence of that whatsoever.
