Okay folks, let's get real: The end of the world as we know it WILL come if 2010 ends up not turning the tables on our current political....delimma. What steps are you taking to prepare for the day when America turns into George Orwell's 1984?

I never could get used to the taste of spam. =S

As far as my survival kit goes so far I've got a Remington 870 express and am saving up for a pretty AR-15

I need a windmill to charge my laptop battery so I can still get on the interwebs. It would be boring if the world ended and you couldn't get online!

I really am prepared (unlike these jokers). Half my family is LDS so I have genetic compulsion to

A. Mistrust government;

B. Assume I will have to look out for myself.

I could use some more slugs for the shotty but it's no big deal. I have food (and dog food), water, alternative power, a neighborhood plan, and a bible.

I'm good to go. :)

It would be boring if the world ended and you couldn't get online!All you need is one of those goat windmills that strap on their back and charge up a battery pack while they run around .Or you could invest in a solar cell backpack for each of the critters and charge batteries and power up all of your computer stuff.You could even turn one of them into a Teletubby and use it as a monitor.

Storing up on canned food, Jiffy biscuit mix, and canned bread.

Good to see other people also interested in living through troubled times ahead; think it will be farther down the road then 2010.

I have a good supply of ammunition and I know where all the anti gun liberals in town live. Canned food and a labor pool won't be a problem for a bit. :D

Keep track of where all the vegetarians live if we run out of meat they will have the best flavor! Anything is good in a turkey fryer!

Thanks for chiming in - my church actually uses the BCP 1928 and I do have one. We feel the KJV is a nice adjunct.

I suppose that makes their food yours in a sense. Keep track of their whereabouts.
