Architect of the so-called compromise health care bill, Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont) defended a controversial provision in the legislation that would send those who refuse to pay for mandated insurance to prison.
.........................
“Look, our goal is 100% compliance,” Baucus explained.

“’Carrots’ aren’t enough to motivate those ideologically resistant to this goal.

So, we’ve got to have the option of using the ‘stick.’”

The Senator rejected the idea that those who don’t want to buy insurance are “innocent.”

“Collectively, society has determined that everyone needs to be insured,” Baucus argued.

"These People Are Power Mad Crazy,Who in hell gave him that power ?"

“We cannot allow individuals to selfishly opt out.

Such open rebellion against the government would undermine its authority to promote the general welfare.”
.................................
Neither would Baucus accept that some might have religious reasons for wanting to opt out. “Requiring someone to buy insurance doesn’t force them to receive services,” he pointed out. “If they have religious reasons for not using the services they won’t have to unless the President declares an emergency and orders mass inoculations or other treatments.”

Baucus said he didn’t expect refusal to pay to be widespread. “The prospect of having to bunk with the lowlifes occupying our jails should minimize disobedience,” he asserted.

Not Buying Health Insurance Soon Criminal?

Anyone that's still not convinced that the Baucus bill is rotten should be convinced after they read this latest discovery.

Under the health care bill being considered in the Senate Finance Committee, Americans who fail to pay a penalty for not buying insurance could be charged up to $25,000 by the Internal Revenue Service or face up to a year in jail, according to congressional analysts.

To understand how this can happen you need to follow the wonky nature of the bill and our tax code. It's important because the so called logic reveals just how perverted not only the Baucus bill is but the Democrats' philosophy on health care.

Under the Baucus bill, health insurance is no longer optional. It's not even a right but rather a mandate. In other words, if you're living, you have to heave health insurance. If you don't have health insurance, the government penalizes you. The penalty has been changed once and currently that's as much as $1900. This penalty will be assessed by the IRS.

This is no small point because the president argued that this penalty is NOT a tax. That's important because the President ad nauseum promised not to raise taxes on anyone that earns less than $200,000 yearly. Of course, if this penalty were considered a tax, then this would break his promise. Of course, if the IRS is the one imposing the fee/penalty, it's hard to see this penalty as anything but a tax.

Now, let's follow the logic. Health insurance is now a mandate. If you don't pay it, you pay a penalty. If you don't pay the penalty, you are now evading your taxes. Tax evasion is a crime, just ask Al Capone. So, all those that refuse or can't pay for their health insurance and refuse or can't pay the fine for refusing are now considered the same kind of criminal as Al Capone once was. Such is the logic of President Obama and the Democrats.

Under Obama’s Health Care: If you Don’t Sign up, You’ll be Taxed AND Go to Jail?

Let's see Obama spin this one!By now readers may be aware that the health care bill proposed by Democrats creates an individual mandate which requires all Americans to buy health insurance (illegal aliens will still be able to get their care free). Even though then Sen. Obama campaigned for office against a mandate, he's on record supporting one now and claiming that it does not constitute a tax even though just about everyone else concedes it is a tax. Republicans in the U.S. Senate tried to get the individual mandate removed from the bill Democrats are pushing rapidly through the...

You know, if you don't have auto insurance, and you get in a wreck, you have caused damage to another person for which you may not be able to compensate.

If you don't have health insurance, and you get sick, you have caused damage to yourself for which you may not be able to ... oh, wait. There's no such thing as reimbursing yourself...

Looks like I just defeated half of everything Congress has done this year in three sentences.

Sounds a lot like Hitler... Fuck him.... That's not freedom!!! I hope Americans have some balls left. I hope all this ammo hoarding pays off.

And society 'collectively decided' shit for me... The entire government desperately needs to be brought down a notch.. This is the most unbelievable thing I think I've ever read.
