"We do it with cars" is also an argument for gun registration, and there are people who object to that, too.

4. It is OK for you to not buy health insurance if you agree that --

- if you become sick or injured and you can't pay out of pocket, we let you die.

- if you develop an expensive, chronic health problem you cannot then sign up for health insurance coverage.

There it is folks.

If you want proof that most of the DUmmies care NOTHING about health care reform and only want to see Obama get his way and drag this entire country straight down the path to hell then this idiot FarCenter just summed it up for all the world to see.

Under the current healthcare system should you become sick or injured you have unlimited access to all the health care the US can provide, REGARDLESS of your financial situation. As far as the law goes you can figure out how to pay for your treatment AFTER your life has been saved.

Under Obumble care the idiot FarCenter will be glad to personally let you die as you didn't buy in to the wonderful health care "reform" that the current administration wants so badly to ram down our throats. With the approach FarCenter recommends you better be insured or you are dead. Wow, that is change I believe in, I don't want to, but I do. Nice "reform" there.

So the health care "reform" that the DUmmies are all in favor for will make it harder to get treatment when you are desperately ill? Speak up DUmmies, I know you are reading this.

It is hard to watch such blatant stupidity in action and not say something. But I know I would only be banned from the echo chamber of DU if I did.

This is why I don't want healthcare "reform" to pass. It's only going to make things worse. I am just terrified that this is going to be rammed through without any possibility of stopping it.

I wish someone there would take a second and look up the definition of the term INSURANCE.

I wanna be able to wait until after I wreck my car to buy insurance.

8. Except we're being told most of us may have to pay into private insurance companies -

the very crooks who caused this mess. I wouldn't have a problem being told I have to pay into a national single payer program. I have a big problem being forced to contribute to United Health Group's or Aetna's profits.

The other way car insurance is difference - the older the car the cheaper the insurance.

9. Fuck you, and fuck you.

I have lived my short 48 year old life without much need for a government run health care system, with the exception of the ten years I spent in service to my country. I might add that my Anterior Cruciate Ligament replacement was TOTALLY fucked up by Navy doctors.

I supported my government as a young adult, to the point of being exposed to dangerous man-made chemicals now known to be carcinogenic. I was a Sailor for ten years.

Fuck you and your notion of what constitutes being an adult or not.

I've BEEN in the government run healthcare system, and will need to have both of my knees replaced because of it.

17. <snip>

I did it because I took personal responsibility for me. You need to do the same!I think this is the first time those words have ever been uttered on DU. Who is this madman?
