I'd go for Rio. Madrid would be the 3rd Olympic games in a row held in Europe (London 2012 & Sochi, Russia 2014). Holding the games in Rio would be the first games in S.America! Plus, in the S. Hemisphere the seasons are opposite. Who wouldn't want to escape from the cold and head to the sultry beaches of Rio? Toyko would also be nice.

Toyko would also be much too expensive .A cup of coffee runs about seven dollars these days and even a small decent steak will set you back sixty to seventy bucks !

I think Rio has it locked.

Michelle showed up in a dress that looked like a lion puked up a zebra, that ain't gonna help any.

It struck me today that while our chances of losing Afghan are getting closer and closer, our President views an event that he really has nothing to do with more important. How sickening is that? If ever the comparison to Nero fiddling while Rome burned was appropriate, it is now.

That rag was laughable, wasn't it? Any place that isn't America is just fine with me. Do the summer Olympics ever make any money or provide any useful infrastructure for people?

It's a short time burst, but one that is big. My dad's girlfriend works in the Ferry Service in Vancouver, and their already going nuts up there. Come Feb, it's going to be insane the amount of tourism and all that stuff that'll be going on.

There will be a lot of money brought it. But it wouldn't be sustained. If this where for the 2010, or 2012 Olympics, I'd say we should fight for this, but 2016 is so far off it's not likely to have any real impact on our economic state today.
