Have you seen this image?

http://www.whitehouse.gov/assets/hero/hero_weeklyaddress_9-26-09.jpg

It's been on the whitehouse.gov website for the last couple of days. Nice shot, eh? Very Stalinist looking if you ask me.

What's worse?

The file name.

"Hero_weeklyaddress". Do you believe that?

This bird is arrogant to a fault.See how he sticks his nose in the air as if he were something very special ! Does he really have that much to be so vain about ?

Has he achieved anything to be proud of ?This much vanity can't be normal, even a man of very high achievements is usually humble to some extent but not Obama !

I am beginning to think that he has some sort of abnormal mental narcissistic disorder that clouds his thinking and disturbs his mind.

You can't get to it that way on the White House site, though. Just through "weekly address".

Actually Michelle has said Barack has foot odor. That might explain the photo!

Hero, ha. More like loser to me. All that glitter is beginning to wear off the Magic Negro. His economic, foreign, social and fiscal policies suck, and that hope and change is going in the wrong direction.

I'm going to start being really worried if they start pasting those pics on walls in DC and around the country, very Mao-like.

I guess the blue suit with the red tie and white shirt are supposed to make us feel he's patriotic or that supporting him is patriotic instead of just plain IDIOTIC.

I went to Flicker to see if it was there as well, but its not (there haven't been but a couple of pics since 9/28). Anyways, for those of you who don't know, you should check out the Official White House Photostream on Flickr:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/whitehouse/

Be sure to check out the moonbat comments on some of them! And of course, the lie of a disclaimer placed on EVERY photo:

This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way ...[snip]

Um NO, it's in the public domain! Which, according to usa.gov (http://www.usa.gov/copyright.shtml) means:

A work that is a United States Government work, prepared by an officer or employee of the United States Government as part of that person's official duties, is not subject to copyright in the United States and there are no U.S. copyright restrictions on reproduction, derivative works, distribution, performance, or display of the work. [snip]

Anyways, these are only from the first 3 pages of photos...

Do you think it's appropriate to have a picture showing your ass like that? Of course, this isn't anyone, but rather the POTUS!? Where's the boxers/ass sticking out above his saggy pants? Not just that, but would a non-staged photo catch both feet in the air, and defense which can't jump?

"Chairman Obama is just not that into you." (during mtg w/US representative to the 5+1 party talks w/Iran)

Uh, yeah, I'm, uh, busy. (Did you notice how overexposed the left window is behind him? Maybe it's just me, but that is awfully suggestive lighting.)

I truly have no words for this one! The caption is: President Barack Obama puts a little body English on his shot during a round of golf at Farm Neck golf course during his vacation on Martha's Vineyard, Aug. 24, 2009.

I hate the way he gives a speech. Facing 3/4 to the left then quickly turning 3/4 to the right. Never facing straight ahead.

You know that that's because of his masters the teleprompters right?

This whole thread is silly. You're all picking apart the photos because you don't like the guy, and that's fine. The fact is that if it were a president you liked, all the photos would be wonderful! :p

Being a photographer myself, I would rip the first photo apart even if it were of President Reagan. I wouldn't slam Reagan for it, but the photog that took the shot and the idiot that published it I would heap the scorn on. We should also call out the lacky that titled the image "hero" and posted it to the official government website too.

I can't navigate to that link within the whitehouse.gov website. Is it possible that someone just labeled a jpg?

Obama is a pompous fool and this picture is what you would expect from him. The presidents we have liked all possesed a quality of humility that he sorely lacks!

The link is active and working. I've hit it from 3 different machines on two different networks. They may have removed the image from the page at this time, they constantly update the site. It's also possible that once the flap hit they removed it as well. But they haven't removed it from their servers - yet.

I'm not sure what you mean by "labeled a jpg" but unless someone hacked the whitehouse.gov website, someone on staff named it that.

OK, glad you could make it work because I could not make the link work on the site, nor could I navigate to it on the site using the "hero" appellation. I'm glad you were able to validate, because I could not.

No, Linda, that picture in the OP is ridiculous! I've never seen a chin held so high.. Funny side note, though-he seems a little more humble when his wookie is standing next to him.. Get him alone in front of the camera and the chest puffs right out...

Is it like this?
