I became a fan of Battlestar Galactica when I saw an episode on Hulu.com this past January and then the final episodes aired just after that.
I bought the whole series and have been watching it an episode or two at a time and today I watched the episode Guess Who's Coming to Dinner where Rebel Cylons ask to join the Fleet and have Adama support them. I was awestruck by the whole episode. Every minute was better than the minute that preceded it. The music, the dialog, the pace and timing. Everything. It was no less than a masterpiece. I really cannot think of anything on TV that tops this except maybe the first episode after the Fleet finds Earth and the two mutiny episodes.
Going back over this show's history, it is really amazing that it won no major Emmys.
