Well...of course I gave her the flu. :D

Except in rare cases, I recover pretty fast from the flu and I'm feeling
a lot better tonight. SLW went into work for a while today and then came
home early since she started feeling really tired. About an hour ago I felt her
head and she felt warm. You're done! Hit the bed.

Dinner will be some simple stir fry boneless chicken breasts loaded with
lots of veggies cooked in "custom" olive oil. :D

Simple stuff.

Oh, an a Vodka Martini. For me. :D

Is this "oink" flu or regular flu? We're supposedly due for a surge in oink now that it's getting colder.

Hope the missus feels better soon.

You may want to fix something simple for yourself, like fried SPAM sandwiches. :D

Ths is a weird flu. So far none of the intestinal stuff, just headache, achey, chills, extreme fatigue. SR had a higher temp with his version of the flu. Actually, in July I got the flu first and then gave it to him. He was kinder to me---this isn't as nasty of a flu.

The stir fry chicken was delicious. SR is definitely a keeper. :D

You'll get well soon.

It's a shame the Cards blew the 2nd game with the left fielder dropping an easy catch. They gotta win 3 in a row now.

You will have better tasting pork if you finish them on corn mash!

Don't remind me. That's got me sick, too. At least it's a sunny day today. Hope the Cards win today. I guess we should just look at it as an opportunity and challenge. :D

Some doc's don't even seem to care. My wife got diagnosed last night with the flu. The Dr. didn't even bother testing to see if it's the swine flu. Said the treatment is exactly the same. Sent her home with a prescription for Theraflu.

SLW, I hope you are feeling better! But in the meantime, milk it for all it's worth & make him wait on you!!

You take care of the nice lady there Sara! :)

My nephew and BIL both have confirmed cases of H1N1 right now. The reemurgance is going to seem pretty dramatic here in the coming months.

They just reported the first tamiflu resistant strains, greater joy.

Also has anyone else been having that dream about the really cool guy in the denimn jacket standing on top of the casino in Vegas telling you the world is going to be yours? :D
