The H1N1 vaccine will arrive too late to help most Americans who will be infected during this flu season, according to a study conducted by scholars at Purdue University, The Washington Times reported on Tuesday.

The study also estimates that the virus — commonly referred to as the swine flu bug — will infect about 60 percent of the U.S. population, although only about 25 percent of Americans will fall ill.


We are all going to get it sooner or later.

Meh, I don't personally care one way or the other. I'll get the shot if my doc wants me to get it but I have more faith in my superior immune system than I do in the vaccine hype.

I have faith in my immune system, my pantry and two freezers full of food, and my ability to work from home.

No, not that... I think Mormons are supposed to always have a year's supply of food on hand. I wouldn't last more than about four months, but neither would the flu.

We also have stocked up a bit in order to make it through a few weeks without being able to go out.
Considering the situation in the world ... swine flu, etc ... it's smart.
