The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties.

I realize that a few Members of each House are Independents and at least one is a declared Socialist but, as a group of people, they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation.

In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will have to stand for re-election; all 435 of them.

One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election. Vote every incumbent out.

And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us.
They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense..

Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. You'll know who they are because their names will be on the ballot and, in most cases, will be shown as the Incumbent.

If you don't know who your Senators are, (there are only two for each State) find out. And then vote them out, too!

We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

We, the People, have got to take this Country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully. That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.

Please, if you love this Country, send this (as I have done) to absolutely everyone whose email address appears in your address book.

This thing can permeate this Country in no time. Let's make it happen..

VOTE THE BUMS OUT. LET'S TAKE AMERICA BACK! IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING IN OUR COUNTRY, THEN DO NOTHING..

Nah, we've got too many stupid, lazy people voting now, and they've figured out that they can vote themselves your money.. It's downhill from here...

You are correct. You win the prize.

This thought is a little late in coming to many. I've been saying this since I've been voting. The two party system has turned in to a debate on whose party has the least crooked and slimey politicans.

Everyone always seems to have a fit when you speak of having a third party. I say the time has come!

This is a two-fold problem.

First, there's the RINOs in GOP itself.
Granted, there will always be RINOs - but their numbers grew when the "new tone" BS started during the Bush (43) administration. "Reaching across party lines" once worked, to a certain extent, but...Not any more. Not with this batch of liberals. They are controlled by the most extreme wing of their party and will be for quite some time. They are hopeless and helpless. Let them rot, for they are nothing more than living proof that sometimes, the after-birth can thrive outside the womb.

The other issue is a voting populace that either refuses to believe, or has simply not been educated in the fact that our system of government (a constitutional republic) was designed for a people that remain actively engaged in the goings-on of government, at ever level....township, city, county, state & federal. For too long we have walked into the voting booth, made our mark or pulled the lever, and then walked out feeling "Ok, I've done my part, now they can do theirs!". Then we put our heads back in the sand and ignore what goes on until the next time we're called to vote.

That is the most irresponsible thing in the world, and it HAS TO STOP...NOW!
We MUST hold our elected officials accountable!

Funny thing is....Now that we are beginning to do just that, and in large numbers...Those in office are throwing a red-headed step-child hissy fit. Their collective 'binky' has been taken away from them, and, *sigh*, they actually have to answer to their constituents!

Boo hoo, I say!

They either start getting the message now, or they can start making plans to join AARP and buy a Winnebago for that cross country trip after retirement.

A lot of the attitude of voters in a national election is to think locally but talk globally. Many speak of voting for what is good for the country yet in truth the vote based on what they perceive is good for them. For Congress, its a case of "all the people are crooks... but mine. Even if he is a crook he brings home the pork." For President it tends to be a straight partline vote.

My thoughts exactly...No Imcumbents...Wipe the US political landscape clean. They have taken us to the brink. As well, they are responcible for building the walls that keep us devided. They are mostly scum. Term Limits are a MUST
