George W. Bush visits Fort Hood, wounded soldiers
(AP) – 3 hours ago

FORT HOOD, Texas — Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, have visited wounded soldiers and their families after the mass shooting at Fort Hood.

The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood's Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night. Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in an e-mail that the couple thanked Fort Hood's military leaders and hospital staff for the "amazing care they are providing."

An Army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, is accused of killing 13 people and wounding 29 others in a shooting rampage Thursday at a Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Fort Hood. Hasan is hospitalized, under guard.

Obama needs a couple of months to think on it and decide whether if he is going to go or not.

Come to think about it, it is strange that the sitting Commander-in-Chief hasn't visited the largest base massacre in history. He was up-staged by his predecessor...

Yup, THAT'S CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN...

Who logged more hours in the Air National Guard than many active duty pilots.

Bush is class all the way; Obama isn't. Bush had good role models growing up. Poor Obama didn't. You have to give it to the new Pres that he certainly rose to the top without the help of loving parents setting a good example for him. The trouble is, it's probably the Peter Principle in action here.

How hard would it have been for Obama to come to FT Hood with the Chief of Staff of the Army and the Congressional Delegation that was here yesterday? It would have been just like voting "present." We already know that he can do that.

No big deal, we'll get a "shout out" later in the week.

Why would Obama go to Fort Hood? Afterall ... this wasn't a 'terrorist attack' according to him.

He's one sick, anti-American bastard.

Why would Obama go to Fort Hood?

According to the paper this morning, he's going to the memorial service there on Tuesday.

Obab is my role-model.
One day, I too hope I can disrespect everything I'm supposed to be leading.
Then not give a shit in great time of need.

I was in the 101st 3/502nd Inf in 1985 (Gander).

President and Nancy Regan came to visit us almost immediately.

Then he went to Dover AFB to show respect.

It was an honor to meet such a great leader and a great man.

Oblabla could learn a little from true leadership.

I was turkey hunting all weekend and heard of the attack when we finally got radio signal on the way back. The story of the shooting was on the cover of NO Sunday newspaper in Pa, that I saw. But President Obama's face was staring at me right on the cover of our local paper, touting this "Historic Moment" for Healthcare.

President Bush this weekend showed once again that despite all his faults (he had many), he is and always will be a great man with his heart in the right place. At least my brothers in arms could count on ONE Commander in Chief showing he supports them.

Our thoughts and prayers need to stay with the victims of this terrible, cowardly act.

It's all abouot Obama and his great accomplishments like;

Being a fighter pilot, oh that was Bush.
Must have been stopping the insurgency in Iraq, oh that was Bush.
Must have been the rapid response to teh 911 attack, oh that was bush.
Must have been the time he stood up to the UN, oh that was Bush too.

Oh how about the time he was a ........................ just what has he done?

Well, he is a dumb ass. If he keeps going like this money and toilet paper will have the same value. Remember the Italian Lire in the 80's $150,000 for a snickers. A great testament to Socialism.

Very true.

There was a lot of legitimate criticism about his administration. Say what you want about the man, but at the very least his sincerity and "sportsmanship," for lack of a better word, is exemplary.

Try class, respect and dignity. These three adjectives are missing from the present administration but were in abundance with the Bush administration. OBlah Blah believes he is clever enough or we are too stupid to see his faults. He thinks we can't see his hyper-partisanship. He actually believes his rhetoric and thinks we believe it also.

Proof that sometimes there are better words, it's just not easy to think them up past midnight. XP

Humility too. That's something Obama will never have--not only is he full of himself, but the media consistently validates his delusions of grandeur.

Agreed. I realize that photos can be brutal. I can't take a photo ever without looking like Goober or a bad cartoon. In O Blah Blah's case, there are already too many photos showing his arrogance.
