Today was a Friday the thirteenth. Did anything happen to you? Do you "observe" these Fridays by being extra cautious? Do you have any little superstitions that you like to acknowledge at all?

And of course the usual questions: what are you doing, drinking, eating, wearing, or avoiding? And why? :D

I don't believe in horoscopes or superstitions.

Let's see, I'm watching some college football, drinking a diet coke, wearing sweatshirt & jeans.

Saving up my energy for a far more important football game tomorrow night. Only wish I could be there.

I operated a dozer on the edge of a 150 foot cliff all day and nothing went wrong. I didn't realize it was the thirteenth till I was logging my time when I got done this evening

Chillin out with my wife, drinking a tall glass of ice water. Preparing for my 2nd job in the morning.

Watching Westerns. Just saw Ride the High Country. Now watching Vera Cruz (Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster).

No special precautions. Just the usual stuff....rabbit's foot, lucky rocks, lucky coins, religious medal, etc.

There's a 150 foot cliff in OK? :D

There are some very steep hills in eastern OK. I am rerouting the road because the grade is to steep on the existing road. I personally have snapped to drive shafts and banged up one truck when it went out of control going down. Two dump trucks have rolled off of it . One of them exploded in flames at the bottom.

I stocked up today. I have butter pecan fudge, ice cream, swiss cheese, Amish ham, summer sausage and beef sticks. Life is good!:D

I just got done making a bunch of cookie dough (for tomorrow), a sponge for some sourdough bread, and I'm soaking beans.

Nice weather here in Tennessee. Not too hot, not too cold. Had a Roast and fried taters for supper. MMMMM:D

I delt with some messed up people today at work. For a while, it felt like I was working in a call center.

These people were higher then a kite with a broken string.

You are killing me, that all sounds good.

I took my mother out for dinner, we had pizza. She had a bad day, she broke her glasses and they could not be fixed. The new ones will be over $300 and she can't see until they are done. After I dropped her off, I feel asleep in front of the TV, now I am wide awake, eating left over pizza (garden) and drinking a diet Cherry Dr Pepper. Life is good.

While I do not believe in them, I do a a Celtic Cross Tarot Card Spread every morning. Then pick up the cards in reverse order and put them back on top of the deck. That way at the end of the day I can review how the day went with what the cards said.
