Now this is a storm!!! When I posted this pic this storm has
sustained winds of 185mph with gusts to 225mph!!! :eek:

Gotta thank you SR. I drew a Pacific Thunderstorm chart earlier today, and I completely forgot to put this on it. I saw this and was able to go back and fix it before it got sent out. :D

Is that monster expected to make landfall? Looks like it is just south of Japan. If it hits Japan at least they are a modern nation capable of withstanding a brute like that. Just like America :rolleyes:

It had weaken before but I guess it was just under going
an eyewall replacement cycle.

Nah, it's pretty much gonna stear clear of any major land. It might hit a few small islands, but nothing major. It's got a pretty hefty feeder band running parallel to the Mariana's though.

a nice Stadium Eye now. Very impressive storm.

JTWC says there doesn't seem to be much change forecasted. Low vertical wind sheer, and it's moving pretty slow. Damn strong storm for this late in the season.
