When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to
this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of
how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much
would get. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year,
please include the following:

A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

If you approve, please pass it on.

Thank you so much. I have attached it to a prayer list that I manage so it has gone out to about 150 people who I am sure will forward it on. To even more

Your cards, letters, packages will be coming back to you. Don't send anything there.

At work Friday there was an older gentleman wearing some type of militay cap. Another customer asked him about it and the next thing I knew, he was shaking the older gentleman's hand while he said "thank you for your service." It was very touching to me. I would like to see that more often. God Bless both of them.

Any time I am presented with a military ID so that the family or individual can use the Tri-Care benefits, they get a big thank you from me.

Thanks so much for catching this. The link had been sent to me by someone that always screens before sending. I guess she missed this one, will let her know to not send it anymore.

It was a good idea though! I ordered cards and will be sending them to the red cross address.
