Well, it's coming here and when we get moisture from the south and cold from the north, ooooh boy, we've had some humdingers of blizzards. These were the times where I loved being a bead man.

I was looking at the sat data before I left work. Linda Numbers is gonna get screwed. On a more positive note: the Gore effect looks like it will delay Obumble's landing until after midnight. "It's an ill wind..." and all that.:D

It's a nasty one too. We're getting the brunt of a blizzard now. Possibly 14-20"

This is about the biggest snow we've seen in this area for a decade. Reminds me of the one that hit Superbowl sunday in 1986. You don't get many December blizzards near Christmas in these parts.

We are well on the way - the snow is fine but intense, and this afternoon they are calling for blizzard conditions, so it really ought to be fun when this stuff starts moving around at 30-40 mph.

I got home from work an hour ago. I pulled a double. It snowed like crazy the entire time. My truck is basically parked nearly in the middle of the street. No choice. I have 3 ft drifts in my yard. My poor dogs don't have hardly anywhere to do their business.

Sounds like global warming has actually saved you all, imagine how much snow you would have gotten. :D

Back on topic: 23.2" officially in the city. This is more than we normally get in an entire winter.

Second largest snowfall ever recorded. It's the most ever received in December and winter has not officially started yet.

If they want to cart this stuff off to the Arctic, I'm fine with that.
