It's almost Christmas here in St. Louis and I just got done putting together
a little ATV type toy for SLW's son son Luke! :D Yes, his name is really Luke.

I was shocked! This toy took all of 10 minutes to assemble and it's battery is
now charging for little Luke to play with tomorrow.

SR can hardly wait for Luke to be old enough to have his own little light saber. Hope his mom and dad don't mind. :D

No snow at all, just a LOT of rain. It was about 50 degrees at 9pm.

Merry Christmas, Rock.

Nope, and it's still 50 at 9 minutes into Christmas Day. :D

What are the two words that make any Christmas shopper recoil in abject fear?

"Assembly required"

Nothing to put together here.

Santa has been really good to me this month. A new recliner, laptop, several thousand dollar winning streak at the casino & a new girlfriend.

The girlfriend has been in the works for a while, we just kept missing each other I guess. She's cute & eight years younger then me. :D I ended a long distance relationship that I knew was not going to work out.

When having dinner, ran into two ex girlfriends tonight, at the same place...and I have only lived here 18 months...lol

Did you unwrap her last night?:D

My girlfriend stayed the night for the first time last night (Unwrapped her last night). Equadoran. She asked my daughter last week what she was getting me and bought accordingly. Been playing alot of Uncharted 2 on the new PS3 my daughter bought for me.

Here is the game's trailer:
(all the action sequences in the trailer are actual gameplay. Yes, the graphics are that good)

It was a mutal unwrapping. :p She left this morning.

We have known each other for about 18 months, I caved. It's been a wonderful 3 days.

She has a pretty cute 5 year old, I'm a sucker for kids. In fact, me showing up with presents for her son, started this. Instead of doing the random toy drive thing this year, I wanted to shop for a kid that I knew...so that is what I did.

I had dated one of her best friends first (months ago), and that didn't work out. I just want someone I can get along with. I don't do drama or games....did I mention she is 8 years younger then me? :) My friend that I was taking vacations with all summer, turned into having more needs then I was willing to take on. :D

I think it takes me longer to get the toys out of the packages than it does to put them together.. My step-son got a Lego mining machine that has internal gears that you assemble, so that when it rolls a drill on the front also turns.. Wow, have those things come a long way.. What's bad about it, though, is that the Legos for this thing are singular in purpose, so they don't force kids to use their imaginations like plain ol' Legos used to. It's more like a model than Legos.
