Santa was very kind to me this year. My new guitar was finished and arrived Dec 24. It was a very merry Christmas for me. :)

I got a lot of nice things but this was truly remarkable:

This is a talking board made the fantasy artist Maxine Miller. I have #182 of 500. I have a large (and valuable) collection of tarot cards but I'm just beginning to collect talking boards. This is a wonderful addition to my very small collection. :)

Post pics of the screwdriver set. :)

Before Christmas I took a cordless drill back that was an early gift, as by the time I bought the second battery, it was not all that great of a deal. Plus, the one I have now, used to be my dads. Not looking forward to the day it quits working.

Things went really well for me this month, as I have posted in other threads.

New laptop, recliner, girlfriend & clothes. Plus books, candy & nuts! I'm also getting a nice bonus from work on Dec 31.

I had a nice dinner yesterday with friends that do not have family here. It was nice. One of the guys is the engineer for our local TV station, his family is back in the Midwest. There was even a lesbian couple there. :p
It was better then family, no fights!

I got a snuggy that has been appropriated by my daughter and the dog! Cashmere sweaters, a beautiful homemade quilt from my sister, and the joy of eating easy bake treats!

I got the usual jeans, shirts and stuff but I also got a Playstation 3 from my daughter. She included a couple of games but when I put this one in my jaw just dropped. I could not believe the graphics on this game. Not only the graphics, but also the gameplay. Best game ever. Here is a trailer for the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

I gotz an Ipod nano, a new 2 pound loaf bread making machine, District 9, a pretty good wilderness survival guide, a really wonderful hand carved Zuni Indian Bear Fetish, a really nice set of frying pans to replace my BTS ones and a box of Bacon Toffee. The company that makes this takes Nueske's Applewood smoked bacon and Alder wood smoked salt and embeds in crisp, buttery toffee. A layer of 41% cacao deep milk chocolate embraces top and bottom. It's pure joy in a box.

This candy can cure cancer. It makes strong men weep, will loosen the knees of any maiden and the only reason he's still alive is that Bacon Toffee hasn't wanted Chuck Norris dead yet.

I also inadvertently discovered that Harry and David's Crunchy Almond & Peanut Butter could almost qualify as an aphrodisiac.

Actually, I told everyone to buy a toy for a needy child (Toys for Tots, etc.) or donate to the food bank. They need things more than I do.

The only materialistic things I want, are guns and ammo. Which I will buy myself.

Lucky git. A good friend of mine got given this a couple months ago. We did a couple of side-by-side tests against the original CDs and the remastered ones are yay better.

The Remastered set sounds great...I don't own it, but have heard alot of it. A co-worker has it on Ipod.

I heard there was a remastered Led Zep series out too. I KNOW I'd pay for that.
