I had today off (a Floater day I had to use before the EOTY) and was just running errands with SLW.

I have to go in tomorrow, my boss beat me to it taking Thurs off. :D

I stopped tonight after getting a new propane tank and got a bottle
of Martini & Rossi Asti for da new year. Yes, we spare no expense here
at Imperial Center. :p Plus, I like it. SLW takes a sip or two.

Not going to any parties, just staying home together with the pooches.

Is Dick Clark still breathing???

I like M&R Asti...better than the expensive stuff imo.

I will be working as well and hope to make it home before midnight.

Nothing is up fer tomorrow night. I am thinking about going somewhere that is warm. Like southern Fl. Hate cold weather. Monthly rates on the beach are outrageous though. I might just get in my car and wing it without reservations.

I'm think I'm staying at home. To many amateur drunks on the road.

I find New Years interesting. People spend one night doing what I did every night :D
It was like the world finally caught up with me.

Nothing. But 1/1, some friends are coming in from up North, so we're going out on the town, and the next day, breakfast at Hamps.

Who needs to wake up on 1/1 with a hangover, anyway.

Definitely staying in. Miz Bubba and I have a bottle of champagne and will watch football and a movie.

I'm getting a haircut tomorrow to shape it so I can grow my skullett back. It'll look cool with my Fu-Manchu with the Zappa Apostrophe.

Be in awe of me.

The Mrs. and I will be at church tomorrow night at the annual New years eve vigil. Been bringing in the new year this way since I was a teenager. :)

Nodda planned here... perhaps swing by a friends house who is having a couple of people over. We'll see... The big parties ended for me in 2000. I figured the world was going to end so I got so drunk I still feel the hang-over to this day. :)

2012 is coming, so since the world will for sure end then, I'll get my drink on once again that year... but not before.

If we're talking about the Apostrophe album, it is one of my favorites. I also love Bongo Fury...

Staying in-we never go out on amateur night.. It's the absolute worst night to go out. The restaurants all rape you at the door to get in, and they have a, "Special New Year's Eve," menu that isn't very special but for the fact that their normal 30 selections are whittled down to 5 appetizers. Here in Massachusetts, many people hop on the T and ride into Boston to party, but that's a young person's game.. I can do without all the drunk, puking amateurs on the train on the way home... Plus, at home you can change the channel of the party gets boring...

It's strange talking to my Army buddies overseas who will be in 2010 while we're talking.. Two people talking to each other in completely different decades! Pretty neat.

One of my regrets is that FZ passed away just as I got interested in his music, so I never got to see him play live.

We got home a few hours ago from a few days away at a lovely inn in NC. The filet mignon is thawing; it will be an early evening after a lot of driving.
