Captain of 'Deadliest Catch' ship suffers stroke

SEATTLE (AP) -- The Seattle-based captain of the "Deadliest Catch" fishing vessel Cornelia Marie has been flown to Anchorage after suffering a stroke while the boat was in port at St. Paul Island, Alaska.

According to the vessel's Web site, Capt. Phil Harris was stricken Friday night. Harris was flown to Anchorage and underwent surgery over the weekend. His sons, Josh and Jake, joined him there.

Hope he recovers, I've enjoyed watching them, and know he's been suffering from health issues.

I remember his pulmonary embolism in season 4 (I think it was season 4). Dudes only in his early 50's. And a tough bird. But some sources are saying he's in a coma. :confused:

TMZ is reporting that he's in a medically induced coma..
