Schools that force girls to wear skirts as part of their official uniform are discriminating against transsexuals, a British watchdog claims.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission says schools may be breaking the law if they continue to make skirts compulsory, Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reports. The commission has even threatened "costly legal action" if uniform rules are not changed.

In a report commissioned by the British government, the watchdog found that "requiring pupils to wear gender-specific clothes is potentially unlawful".

"Pupils born female with gender dysphoria experienced great discomfort being forced to wear stereotypical girls’ clothes — for example a skirt," the report says. But some schools have already dismissed the commission's findings as silly."The message is: not in my school — we’re sticking with our skirts," King Edward VI Handsworth school head teacher Elspeth Insch told the newspaper.

The 68-page report was commissioned by deputy PM Harriet Harman to investigate the human rights of transsexuals. It was designed to help create legislation whereby transsexuals are given the same anti-discrimination rights as other minority groups in the community.

Boy Britain is taking the fast train down the toilet. But pay attention. This is what happens when political correctness goes unchecked.

The Right Honourable Harriet Harman QC MP

Deputy Leader of the Labour Party

Motoring convictions

In March 2009 Harman was criticised for anti-male bias over the issue of the impact of the recession.

Stab vest for constituency walkabout

On 1 April 2008 the Daily Mail reported that Harman had decided to wear a kevlar-reinforced stab vest while touring her Peckham constituency under police guard.[50] On 2 April The Guardian relayed information from the Metropolitan Police that "the type of Met Vest she wore over her jacket protected her from knife attacks and bullets, and, for her at least, was optional".[51] Harman compared the decision to wearing a hard hat while touring a building site, which led the BBC's John Humphrys to respond, during an interview for BBC Radio 4, "You wear a hard hat on a building site because... there is the danger that something might drop on your head. You don't need to wear a bullet-proof vest on the streets of London, do you!" Harman told the BBC that the neighbourhood police team she was with put on their stab vests and gave her one to wear as well.

Pupils are not "born with gender dysphoria". Genetic males who desire to ape the superficial appearance of genetic females have a brain disorder that can be resolved with remapping therapy. It's not politically correct but it sure is medically correct.

Look, this is Harriet Harman we're talking about here. She's not normal, in any way, shape or form. She's a foaming-at-the-fangs socialist.

It always amazes me that people are willing to take a perfectly healthy body and mutilate it to comfort a clearly warped mind. I mean if there is no genetic abnormality at work - like XXY or some other abnormality - and the body is healthy - how do they justify these operations?

I almost got banned at DU for saying the same thing-as it was, I was told that people like me are responsible for the suicide of some friend of theirs who couldn't deal with his gender issues. I suggested it was healthier for people with that condition to cross dress and maintain their original gender. The new body is never going to be what they think it's going to be.

I say this from compassion, not prejudice. I had a friend at church who was a male to female transexual-in her 50s, her whole life was about having surgery to maintain what she considered to be a feminine appearance (it wasn't very convincing). I liked this person very much, and it was sad to see her suffering through all those unnecessary surgeries. He had served in Vietnam-I don't know at what point he had the surgery after that.

RuPaul made the right choice-he never had the surgery and can revert back to male form when he needs to. All he has to do is stop taking the estrogen that makes him grow boobs.
