Thanks to Poli's thread, got interested in seeing where I fall on the political scale.
Lets just see where each of us fall, with so many of us claiming to be moderate, libertarian and so forth.

Placement is about right for my views. Would hate to see it more liberal.

I have no idea how to copy the picture to this thread. I came out about where I expect, on the right hand side of the line between Moderate and Libertarian. I selected "support" and oppose" for things, but never went to the "strongly" option at either end.

It would depend on if you think a young human life deserves liberty too.

As long as it's living off the body of another human, its interests are subordinate; usually, and ideally, these interests are not in conflict.

Cool, an internet quiz.
Based on the above score, you are a Moderate Libertarian Conservative.
I describe myself as a paleoconservative libertarian, so not far off. "Moderate", I guess that depends who you ask. :D
Here's the question I always have to vote null on:
Support and Expand Free Trade
I'm all for free trade on paper, but I strongly suspect that our national sovereignty is being eroded in the name of free trade. I feel like a balance needs to be struck between the two. A balance that equates to "No Opinion" on political quizzes.

Hardcore conservative! xHxCxCx
Don't know that I agree that my low personal score means I want standards of morality enforced by government. Person wants to be gay, that's their chosen course in life. Just don't tell me I can't tell them they are going to hell for it or that I have to teach my kids that it's ok and normal.

Right where I thought I'd be:
http://www.ontheissues.org/quizeng/map/s030_080.gif
However, some of the questions are somewhat loaded. For example:
Decrease overall taxation of the wealthy-What the hell does that mean?
linda22003
03-12-2010, 12:10 PM
I took it to mean "let 'em keep more of their money".
Apocalypse
03-12-2010, 02:32 PM
I read it more as "Fair Tax" since the wealthy pay a higher tax rate then every one else. Where a fair tax or flat tax would mean every pays the same percentage regardless of what they make.
