Gotta love a big boom when you shoot the Mosinzombiegun.

Anyone making a doomsday collection?

I wouldn't say that most of us view it that way (despite all the EOTWAWKI threads). It makes sense to pick up good deals. Some of us are reloaders.

Mostly, we'd just like to be left alone in terms of firearms management. ;)

My point exactly. I've been buying as much ammo at the current price as I can if I can find good deals on it. Pretty soon there's going to be "ammo tax"es and "lethal weapon" taxes and "ammo that goes in firearms" taxes and taxes on shiny things that kill people and taxes on cigarettes...oh wait...:p

Better to keep them on the hoof until needed. You never know when the power might go out.

Smart man/ape.

Anyone who has the decency it takes to plan ahead for the well-being of their family has the responsibility to think about the most advantageous method for murdering, preserving, and eating one's neighbors to survive (or because canned goods are down to a six month supply). Human honor demands it I say. I'm good that way.

Had to practice field dressing them did I? No since letting them go to waste.

Got the hang of it after a time or two. Made jerky since I would worry about the loss of power thing.

Where do you live (not exact location, but at least the city or state). Remind me not to be your neighbor.

I bought 200 rounds of .308 for my AR-10 last year. I've used about 60 of them since. I'm thinking about finding some FMJ rounds for it so I can do some target shooting and not waste my good ammo.

Dude! I feel for you. You will probably get taken down by the least able shooters since they will have a bigger target to aim for.

800 rounds of 22mag, ordering a brick of 1,000 this week. Buying a mini14 with 1,000 in the purchase price, life is good!

Get a t-shirt that says RWD2 and they will think you're a water tower.
