This seems like good news, though the whole process is so murky who the heck knows anymore.

The Democrat leadership has decided to push this volatile legislation into law even as it has reached a point of critical mass in terms of opposition to it. It is a bomb that they are trying to run into our ship of state even as its fuse nears the charge. If it fails they are failures to the tiny minority on the far left, failures to the larger near Left, and failures to the huge majority that votes right from there for being tone deaf. If it passes, they will be victors in their own minds, like triumphant Kamikaze pilots crying victory even as they are annihilated by their mission.
Pelosi and Reid have said that they will get their healthcare reform bill passed no matter what, and maybe they will, but this bill is the Democrats' own petard and they will be hoist by it no matter what.

If they try and keep abortion in it, they could kill the bill. More then likely they are just not talking about it and preying that no one will notice as other parts are being discussed.
In the end, we won't know until it comes down to the vote. I pray that it is held off till Easter Vacation and the Dims head home to their town-halls and get an earful. That happens, that is better then any thing to kill this whole mess.
And that my friends is only 17 more days.
