45. ACP.

got it used with tritium sights, 3 reg mags and 1 extended with a form fit hide holster for 400.00

did I get a good deal? the thing looks like no more than 200 rounds were ever put through it.

Sounded like a smoking deal that I couldnt pass up.....

You got a great deal, actually. The holsters alone can cost up to 50.00 so that means you got the pistol around 350.00. They retail at 500 and more around here. Nice find :)

You got screwed dude. Look at the rust on the thing. The front sight looks a little bent. cracked grips. I'd be afraid of putting any ammo through it for fear of it blowing up.

German made handguns are quite nice. Cops cary H&K (a step up from sig, but not far off IMO).

Sigs are great guns. German steel is the best in the world.

I have a 226 in 9mm. It is the two tone model with the nickle slide and black lower. It is part of the pretty large collection my dad left me when he passed away.

Take it to the range, learn how to shoot it, then carry away my friend. .45's are well known for their stopping power. I myself prefer a .40 as they have both velocity and stopping power but .45 is also known to kick less than .40s. Both wonderful calibers that are often utilized in a tactical environment. I love guns! :p

Keep in mind this was probably a law enforcement weapon, so it's been carried alot but probably not shot much. Pretty sweet deal.

Well great deal for you then. The one's like that I've run across have been Law Enforcement. I bought 3 of those last year. Great weapon.

Nice pickup, Zaf.

Be careful with that decocker. 98% of the accidents at FrontSight have been with Sigs.

why whats up?

There have been two leg shots at FrontSight with Sigs.

Apparently the user "thought" the pistol had been decocked using the decocker.

It wasn't, and on the next fast draw....hole in the leg.

You got a great pistol, at an excellent price.

I'll swap you straight across for my H&K P7, 9mm with 2 mags, original box and manuals.

Not really, but I'm a fan of SIG and a bit envious.
