CNN can’t figure out what it’s doing wrong. All they know is that viewers are abandoning them like they’re the Titanic and Fox News is the iceburg.

MediaBistro.com reports the chilling details:

CNN’s saw its worst primetime averages in a year as its primetime programs hit ratings lows.

… In February’s total day and primetime demo, CNN finished in fifth place for the first time ever, behind FNC, MSNBC, HLN, and CNBC. (Note: Includes Olympic coverage.)

“Campbell Brown” and “AC360″ saw their lowest total viewers since their launch, and “Larry King Live” saw its lowest in at least 13 years. In the demo, it was Cooper’s lowest rated month ever and it was the second lowest rated months for King and Brown. CNN’s primetime was down -54% in total viewers (-57% demo) from last year. The biggest decrease of any network.

Competitively, CNN topped MSNBC in total day and daytime hours, but CNN was also down in total day compared to last year (-35% in total viewers and -40% in the demo).

In its first full-month since launching, “Rick’s List” averaged 560k total viewers and 111k in the demo, which is down -43% and -52% respectively in the time slot from last year.

Say good night, Campbell. Say good night, Larry. Say good night, Rick. Say good night, Cooper.

Just another example of a state-run enterprise failing miserably.

She's yummy.

I used to flip around the "news" channels...CNN, Fox, MSNBC, but I really don't anymore. Too many other distracting channels. MLB Network and the Golf Channel, specifically.

Man, if you can have Robin Meade AND a bad rating, you're bad.
When I go through Atlanta I have to take a double grip on the wheel, close my eyes and have the other truckers talk me past her billboards. Other than that, I'd just hit the air brakes and stop and stare. And stare.
