I went rapeling once, at Young Life camp on Mt. Princeton in Colorado. It was scary, but fun.

I had seen it on TV..............neat as hell.

But I get a little sad when I see how my grandson is coddled and protected. Not allowed (by his lawyer father) to skateboard and such. That is, until it comes to football; then the kid is encouraged to "hit em hard" because that's how his father lives out his life vicariously through his son.
I am glad that didn't happen to me. I would have liked to ride the cable to school........I walked.
