Please explain to me why MSNBC just said they are going to bring us Sarah Palin comments live?

I'm sure Faux news will too (even though they cut off Obama yesterday after about 2 minutes) and CNN will probably copy them too.
Why does she get a platform to spew her anti Obama anti Democratic Party talking points?
I have no problem with them showing she is campaigning for McCain and maybe showing a brief clip or so, but she get's live cable coverage?
It makes me sick.
The media so wants to make her the 2012 nominee, they are going to will into happening.DU--the reason they are so interested in her and report and talk about her frequently is that people are interested in her. Even those who do not like her are facinated about her and want to talk about her all the time. My PROOF...........................

All of these threads were in one 2 hour period at DU.

1. Especially since she is not an elected official, but some

wannabe media star. This is ridiculous, the amount of coverage the msm gives this nobody, hate filled, filthy soul.

From NBC's Norah O'Donnell
TUCSON, AZ -- A senior McCain adviser says Sarah Palin will deliver a "meaty" speech -- the bulk of which is about the Arizona senator -- at today's McCain-Palin rally here.

The adviser estimates the event will start at 3:15 pm ET. Cindy McCain will intro Palin, and Palin will speak about 10-12 minutes, while John McCain will speak for about five minutes.

MSNBC ran Caribou Barbie's speech in its entirety but cut away as soon as McCain started.

Grampy doesn't rate coverage, apparently.

The media is purposely devoting all of this time to Palin so they won't

Edited on Fri Mar-26-10 05:15 PM by monmouth
have to do much coverage on Cantor's lie. It's Friday, they'll cover her for a while. Cantor's lie was inconvenient and they needed something else to replace his sorry excuse. The media was in the wrong also, going with the story before verifying it, they don't want the coverage any longer than necessary. Just a guess here..

She can't even READ her stupid speech...

Grating voice, S&M clothing, vacuous platitudes, odes to John McCain, whom she hates, repulsive denigration of political opponents, I think I'm going to be physically ill.

Seriously Palin is a batshit crazy

loony with nothing more than some seriously worn out RW cliches.

This is hilarious. She's still using the 2008 talking points.
Poor Gramps looks so fugging uncomfortable that I can't wait for the still photos.

Someone (who isn't me) should make a Sarah Palin Disaster Campaign Pool

Having Palin in your court seems to be the next best thing to political suicide.

Moderates mostly can't stand her. What any Republican expects to gain from having her campign for them, I can't imagine. Those Bush 22%'ers and the Tea Bagggers are all going to vote Republican, stay home or vote 3rd party conservatives. Palin chases away moderates.

So, how many campaigns can Palin undermine? Hopefully a lot!
