Obama Makes the Unthinkable (Seccession) Thinkable
I believe we are nearing a point where there are enough irreconcilable differences between those Americans who want to control other Americans and those Americans who want to be left alone that separation is the only peaceable alternative. –Walter E. Williams
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Everybody believed that the American Civil War made any further thought of secession unthinkable, but never estimate the ability of Barack Hussein Obama to foment divisive conditions. Numerous states’ Attorneys General are already suing to block the implementation of his health care plan as unconstitutional, noting not only its mandate that individuals buy a product they may not want or need but also requirements for states to spend more on Medicaid. Obama also supports taxes on carbon emissions and/or cap and trade mandates to enrich his campaign contributors at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Chase (as identified by fellow Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand as opposed to conservative talk radio). In other words, Obama proposes to do to the country’s remaining industrialized regions what protectionist tariffs once did to the South, thus creating the conditions that led to secession and the Civil War. Mainstream columnist Walter E. Williams has finally said what needs to be said in “Parting Company;” Barack Obama has made secession thinkable. Williams however prefers alternatives to secession, and so do we: election of a Republican majority that will repeal ObamaCare and put the final kibosh on cap and trade, and repeal of Barry the Community Organizer himself in November 2012.
What Williams is really talking about is loss of what the Chinese call the Mandate of Heaven, or the leader’s perceived utility to the people. The President of the United States is a sick joke who has insulted or betrayed allies ranging from the United Kingdom to Israel and Poland, bowed to foreign monarchs, and appointed to high office individuals whose presence in a circus sideshow would insult the self-respecting freaks therein. A sick joke and an assortment of freaks like 9/11 denier Van Jones, professional hate-monger Al Sharpton, Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, Michael “There were a whole lot of white people crying” Pfleger, and Joe “Big Bidening Deal” Biden cannot command the respect or trust of a teenager let alone an adult American citizen, and they cannot therefore earn or keep the Mandate of Heaven.
Barack Obama has, like a child who takes apart a watch without knowing how he will put it back together again, changed American health care in a way that will destroy it completely in the absence of prompt repeal. He has, without explanation, returned to the United Kingdom a bust of Sir Winston Churchill that was given to the United States as a gift.
His Secretary of State has offered to mediate between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the Falkland Islands, as if there was any controversy over the islands’ ownership that required mediation. He has withdrawn missile interceptors from Poland and Czechoslovakia after leaders of those nations, along with the Bush Administration, poured enormous effort and political capital into basing them there.
He has undermined the safety of the United States by declaring that we will not use nuclear weapons to respond to chemical or biological weapons of mass destruction, as was our previous policy.
Barack Obama is a 21st century Caligula, the egocentric narcissist with delusions of godhood who declared war on King Neptune while he made his horse a Roman consul–but at least the Romans got the whole horse. What we have is Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butthead doing America, but this time it’s not just a movie.
